Seeking an Electrophysiology Cardiologist to practice in downtown Fort Worth, Texas
Requirements:
- MD candidates preferred.
- Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
- Cardiology fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
- Fellowship in Electrophysiology completion required from an accredited program.
- Board certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology required.
- Current Texas license or willingness to obtain.
- Seeking a candidate ready to practice immediately who has at least two years of practice experience post-fellowship.
About the job:
- Employed position with Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) Heart & Vascular Specialists Fort Worth, a large cardiology practice founded over 50 years ago.
- EP specific practice with general cardiology on-call responsibilities
- This is a cardiology practice with 23 physicians and 13 APPs that practice in 8 locations. Currently, there are three (3) full-time cardiac electrophysiologists.
- Weekend call schedule is 1:6
- Opportunities available for:
- Clinical trial research
- Clinical teaching with medical students and Internal Medicine residents
- This group practices on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and a secondary location at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital.
