Description

Emergency Medicine locums coverage in North Dakota with true solo 24 hour onsite shifts, covering both the ED and inpatient floor. Epic EMR, all ages, with telemed physician and subspecialty support available.

Practice Setting

• APP ED and inpatient hybrid coverage, you manage the ED plus admits and inpatient rounding as the sole provider
• Average daily census, 9 ED and 6 inpatient
• All ages
• Support available via telemed, Avel E Care physician 24/7 in ED and inpatient, plus Compass Telemed subspecialty support including Cardiology, Infectious Disease, and Pulmonology

Schedule

• 24 hour onsite coverage, consecutive shifts
• Orientation is required before starting coverage
• Call requirement, 24 hour onsite, overnight patient care is part of the shift

Cases and Procedures

• Emergency Medicine cases
• Emergency Medicine and inpatient procedures required

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active North Dakota license required, will not wait for license
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
