Locums Cardiology Nurse Practitioner in Longview, Texas - Night Shifts, Block Scheduling

This inpatient cardiology role focuses on overnight coverage with APPs managing acute cardiac needs and serving as first call. The structure is built around consistent night blocks each week.

• 7pm to 7am night shifts, 3 to 4 per week

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient cardiology unit within a large health system
• Mix of general and interventional cardiology cases
• Manage 20 to 50 patients on the unit
• Perform POCUS and handle overnight consults and triage

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts only
• 3 to 4 shifts per week
• Block scheduling available
• Full-time coverage preferred

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Acute Care certification required for Nurse Practitioners
• Active Texas license required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
