Description
Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a well-established program at its Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care.
Full-Time Opportunity (Job ID: FY26-MIA-HVC-3)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient management of patients with heart failure, cardiomyopathies, pulmonary, hypertension, and cardiogenic shock.
- Evaluate and manage patients with chronic heart failure including ones potentially requiring advanced therapies, including durable mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation.
- Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiomyopathies such as cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and pulmonary hypertension.
- Collaborate closely with cardiovascular specialists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Heart Failure Program.

QUALIFICATIONS
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Completion of an accredited Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
