Nurse Practitioner/PA - Electrophysiology Cardiology Inpatient / Outpatient

Heart rhythm Consultants is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced out-patient/inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/PA to join our team.
The Nurse Practitioner /PA will work collaboratively with the Electrophysiologists, , and staff to provide high quality, patient centered care in SW Florida. These clinics and hospitals are located in Sarasota/Venice The candidate MUST have Board certification and relevant and routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years with at least 500 acute care inpatient encounters or has graduated in the past 18 months or board certified adult /acute nurse practitioner graduated by July 2024 and relevant and routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years with at least 1000 acute care inpatient encounters over the last 2 of the last 4 years

Assist in the management and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting. Participate in all Outreach Clinics as a provider. Perform inpatient rounding. Appropriately admit and discharge patients. Accept patient transfers. Provide immediate preoperative care and postoperative care, including all orders, charting, and consents. Proactively identify complications, encompassing medical and surgical complications, and communicates findings. Assist with continuity of patient care by troubleshooting and assessing clinical issues in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. weekend on call rotation Perform all other duties as assigned

Duties will include

Office visits, Assist in the management and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting, Perform inpatient rounding, Appropriately admit and discharge patients

QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer : two years of experience working as NP/PA in related field. Master's degree in Nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Unrestricted APN - Nurse Practitioner License in FL (DORA). Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Skills: General health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills. Electrophysiology experience. Ability to function independently

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $125000/$140000
