RN Director of Cardiovascular ICU and Telemetry
Full Time, M-F 8am-5pm with after-hours call as needed

We are seeking an experienced RN Director of Cardiovascular ICU & Telemetry to lead a highly specialized, high-acuity clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape care delivery across a 24-bed CVICU and an expanding enterprise-level Telemetry service supporting hundreds of monitored beds.

Within the CV/CICU, the nursing care delivery model is Primary Nursing. The targeted nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with a 1:1 assignment for patients with higher acuity. Ratios may be adjusted by the charge nurse based on patient needs and staffing considerations. This model requires nurses to effectively coordinate interdisciplinary care and advocate for individualized patient needs.

Nursing care is delivered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
• 5 years RN experience required
• MSN required
• Previous leadership experience required

• Certification preferred

Key nursing diagnostic and therapeutic modalities include comprehensive assessments and individualized care planning, IV therapy, cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, postoperative care, safety management, skin integrity maintenance, respiratory support, psychosocial care, patient and family education, infection prevention, and medication administration.

A multi-disciplinary approach to nursing care is utilized in the CV/CICU.
