St. Joseph’s Health is seeking per diem PAs and NP RFNAs to join our inpatient orthopedic surgery team in Syracuse, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of hospital employed orthopedic surgeons and Advanced Practitioners in a hospital-based setting, providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.
Position Details:
First assist in surgical procedures
ED Ortho (reduction/splinting/casting/injections).
Inpatient management of orthopedic surgery patients
Pre- and post-operative assessments, rounding, discharge planning
Collaboration with surgeons, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams
Requirements:
NYS licensure as PA or NP (RFNA) required
DEA certification required
ACLS/BLS certification required
Experience in orthopedic or surgical inpatient care required
New grads will not be considered
Compensation:
$110.00 per hour
