Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) — a leader in academic medicine, research, and innovation — is seeking a dedicated Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join the growing team in the Knight Cardiovascular Institute (KCVI), located in the heart of Portland, Oregon.
Position Highlights:
- Clinical Care: Serve as a clinical cardiologist on the Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant team (1.0 FTE). Provide outpatient and inpatient care for pre- and post-transplant/LVAD patients, in equal rotation with peers. Perform procedures including right heart catheterizations, cardiac biopsies, and PA pressure sensor device implantations (if desired).
- Academic Environment: Contribute to OHSU’s mission through teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to advance the field of cardiology through education and innovation.
- Research: Engage in clinical and translational research supported by a robust infrastructure and dedicated research administration.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO required
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license and/or ability to obtain
- Board eligible or Board Certified in General Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure
- DEA certification
- ACLS and BCLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
- Individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences are highly encouraged to apply
