We invite applications for an American Board Certified or Eligible Cardiologist with sub-specialty training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Our new partner will join a team of 25 cardiologists for a mixed practice of advanced heart failure (MCS, heart transplant, shock) with general cardiology.

What You Can Expect:
- An Advanced heart failure team that includes 4 advanced heart failure boarded cardiologists, 1 transplant coordinator, 2 LVAD coordinators and a social worker.
- A multidisciplinary team that includes cardiothoracic surgery, structural and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and pulmonary critical care.
- Temporary MCS (no ecmo at this time) and DT LVAD implanting center.
- Sustained growth in an established LVAD program. Sunnyside Medical Center has one of the only two LVAD programs in the entire KP system.
- Transplant patient care that is completely internalized within 8-10 weeks based on complexity. Collaboration within Kaiser Permanente's National Transplant Services and externally with our Centers of Excellence to optimally support the care of our heart failure patients.
- Cath lab procedures include right heart catheterization with vasoreactivity challenge and endomyocardial biopsies. If interested, our new hire could also do TEEs.
- Advanced heart failure call/inpatient service one week a month. Call includes a mix of heart failure and general cardiology. Night call is advanced heart failure alone.

The annual salary for this position is $501,100 - $538,800 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
